Your comment:   Your name:   05/04/2010 Börje och Christina Lindström, Sweden: Our stay in Hostal Jhomana was very pleasant, their service outperformed more expensive hotels and all activities arranged by Patrick and his staff were up to expectation and on time,  like a wonderful trip to Galapagos, transfers, sightseeing tour. Free internet in the lobby and help with private matters was very much appreciated. It has  a nice lounge with a computer, water and coffee, a library with books in many languages. Patrick, the owner is very helpfull. He helped us with a lot. Hasta la vista! 04/09/2009 Jack Prescott: In our stay in Ecuador, this was the place we felt we could always return to and feel welcome. In fact we did return here on several occasions. The roof was a nice communal area for us with a bbq! Breakfast was lovely as were the staff and bedrooms. We can really recommend this place and also the tours they arrange, especially the tour to the "Garbage Dump Foundation" that was started by a Swedish woman. Para casos como el mio esta es de lejos la mejor opcion. G. 10/09/2008 Kevin (UK): I stayed in Hostal Jhomana for 3 nights prior to my galapagos trip. The place is clean, has good security via an intercom and most importantly very friendly staff! They were especially helpful when it came to booking taxis, making sure we were not overcharged. I was recommended that the Cotopaxi hike and downhill bike ride (bookable at the hostal) would be fun and i was definetely not disappointed, what a fun day and def value for money. Thanks especially to Patrik and Gabriela for all your help during our stay. Jhomana is convenient for the new town and only a bus ride from the old town, but is quiet and great value. Thanks also Patrik for the tour recommendations, our trip to the Cocoa Tropical Inn was definitely a highlight of our time in Ecuador and we´d recommend the Cotopaxi Volcano trip also. Thanks! 16/06/2008 Renato a Croatian Swede Living in the US: I was in Ecuador for two weeks, during these two weeks I used Jhomana as the base to travel around this country.  The people at Jhomana especially Patrick and Gabriela very incredibley helpful in making my ay flexible and very accomdating.  They also gave me all the inside tips including pricing for making my trip a huge success wherever I went.  Many thanks to all the other staff too who were so pleasant in making everything great at Jhomana.  Thank you all again, I wish I could have stayed longer. 02/05/2008 Joana May: I've lived for 20 years in Ecuador and I do know LOTS of hotels in Quito. Jhomana is clean, safe, astonishingly quiet for it's location and convenient. There is no other hotel in this area which is as good as Jhomena. The staff is very friendly and helpful, too. Nice to have some coffee offered in the lounge. Highly recommended 06/04/2008 World Challenge 2006 - Macclesfield!: We stayed in Ecuador for a month and Jhomana was one of the best hostels we've stayed at.  It's right in the city, it's safe and it's all for a good price.  If i was to recommend anybody staying in Quito about hotels/hostels, DO NOT STAY IN OLD TOWN, it's very dangerous.  Stick to New Town whenever you can.   Jhomana is a great place, looking back on the photos brings back memories!   23/03/2008 Anders & Eva Sundstrom, Sweden: Patrick and his family and team are the best. We had a very nice stay there! 19/07/2007 Gunilla von Krusenstierna: Jhomana is a lovely and cheap place to stay at in Quito. The staff is  always very friendly and helpfull. We got all kinds of help from Patrick with booking flighttickets and journeys within the country and great ideas about what to do in Ecuador. For our kids it was very comforting to be able to speak Swedish with Patrick. When one of us got sick and had to go to the hospital one of the staff went with us to the hospital and helped us in contact with the doctors. We had great use of the internet and the free coffe in the lobby. Every evening we gathered at the roofterrace with great wievs of Pichincha. Clean, quiet and friendly. Jhomana was our home during one month in Ecuador. We kept our luggage there when we travelled around the country and every time we got back there our kids said " Nice to be home again" 17/04/2007 Familjen Björnholm (Sverige): Hostal Jhomana valde vi av den anledningen att vi på ett smidigt sätt (på svenska) kunde boka rum på internet. När vi sedan kom dit och träffade Patrik med personal blev vi mycket fästa vid hostalet. Billigt,  rent och snyggt. The staff is always very nice and helpful. You get many good hints and thoughts about what you can to do in and around Quito. It´s very cheap and still you have nice rooms, INTERNET, always coffee or tea and also lots of good litteratures in different languages. They speak Swedish, Spanish and English and  you can always find some litteratur about Quito in Swedish. You feel safe in this hostel.
